Make Using Too Many Credits (Operations)

Workaround available Web Updated October 21, 2026

Quick answer

Make burns credits fastest through polling triggers, which cost 1 credit per check even when nothing is found, and through loops that run many modules per bundle. Switch to webhooks, poll less often and filter right after the trigger.

Most likely fix: Replace polling with instant webhooks.

Symptoms

The monthly credit allowance runs out in days; usage graph shows thousands of credits from a scenario that rarely finds new data; extra credits are auto-purchased.

Why it happens

  • Watch (polling) triggers scheduled every 1-5 minutes
  • Iterators running several modules for every item
  • No filter after the trigger, so irrelevant data runs the whole scenario
  • AI-provider modules consuming variable credits
  • Failed runs retrying repeatedly

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

  1. 1. Replace polling with instant webhooks

    1. Check if the app offers an instant trigger (marked 'Instant')
    2. Replace the Watch module with the instant trigger or a Custom webhook
    3. Set the scenario to run immediately
  2. 2. Poll less often

    1. Click the clock icon on the trigger
    2. Change the interval from every minute to every 15-60 minutes, or to fixed times of day
    3. Raise the trigger's result limit so each run processes more items
  3. 3. Filter right after the trigger

    1. Click the link between the trigger and the next module
    2. Add a filter condition so only relevant bundles continue
  4. 4. Find the expensive scenario

    1. Open Organization > Credits usage (or the dashboard usage chart)
    2. Sort scenarios by consumption
    3. Open its History to see credits per run
  5. 5. Control auto-purchase

    1. Go to Organization > Subscription
    2. Turn off automatic purchasing of extra credits if you prefer scenarios to pause instead
