Bubble Can't Deploy to Live ('Behind Live' Error)

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

  1. 1. Clear the issue checker

    1. Click the red issue counter in the top bar
    2. Fix every flagged issue, then try deploying again

  2. 2. Sync with live and resolve conflicts

    1. Click the sync button when prompted
    2. In the conflict pop-up, resolve in favor of development
    3. If needed, revert to a save point before the bug

  3. 3. Copy changes manually when a merge fails

    1. Copy elements and workflows from the source branch and paste them into the target
    2. Or revert the target to an earlier point and merge again

  4. 4. Contact support

    1. If sync keeps failing, open a bug report; several users only fixed it through support
