KineMaster Won't Save Project With Premium Assets
Ongoing Android, iOS Updated October 21, 2026
Quick answer
Free users can add premium assets but can't save/export a project that uses them. Subscribe, or replace every premium asset with a free one.
Most likely fix: Replace premium assets with free ones.
Symptoms
Export or save prompts you to subscribe, even though the project looked finished, because it includes premium effects, fonts, transitions or music.
Why it happens
- Project contains one or more premium assets
- Premium status not recognized (if you are subscribed)
How to fix it
Try these in order — the most common fix is first.
1. Replace premium assets with free ones
- Look for assets marked with the premium/crown badge in the project
- Swap each for a free effect, font, transition or track
- Export again
2. Subscribe to Premium
- Tap the crown icon and subscribe; premium assets then export without a watermark
3. If you are already subscribed
- Restore the purchase from the crown icon's 'Already purchased?' option
- See the watermark-after-subscribing fix
