Basecamp Voice Notes Microphone Not Working

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

    1. Click the site information icon left of the URL
    2. Site settings > Microphone > Allow
    3. Refresh Basecamp

    1. Open Page Info (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I) > Permissions
    2. Set Use the Microphone to Allow
    3. Refresh

  3. 3. Edge

    1. Click the lock icon > Settings
    2. Set Microphone to Allow
    3. Refresh; if there's no option, check Edge's own microphone settings

  4. 4. Safari (Mac)

    1. Safari > Settings > Websites > Microphone
    2. Set Basecamp to Allow
    3. Refresh or restart Safari

  5. 5. Free the microphone

    1. Quit Zoom, Teams or other apps using the mic
    2. Restart the browser and try again
