iA Writer Windows Not Opening or Blank Window

    2. Download .NET Framework 4.8 from Microsoft and install

  3. 3. Install Visual C++ Redistributable (x64)

    1. Download the latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable x64 from Microsoft
    2. Install and restart the PC

  4. 4. Clean reinstall

    1. Back up documents (File > Export > Markdown)
    2. Uninstall via Settings > Apps > Installed apps
    3. Delete any leftover iA Writer folder in Program Files
    4. Open %APPDATA%\iA Writer and delete library.json and user_settings.json
    5. Restart, then install the latest version from iA
