Lattice 1:1 Not Syncing With Outlook or Google Calendar

Workaround available Web (Outlook, Google Calendar) Updated October 21, 2026

Quick answer

Lattice 1:1s stop syncing when the recurring calendar event is deleted or recreated, the next meeting is past the sync window, or calendar authorization breaks. The creator of the 1:1 can fix it from the 1:1's Settings > Calendar event sync, then reconnect the calendar.

Most likely fix: Disconnect and restore calendar sync.

Symptoms

The 1:1 shows 'This 1:1 is currently unscheduled', meeting dates in Lattice don't match your calendar, or Lattice can't find the event when you try to connect it.

Why it happens

  • The recurring event was deleted, or a new series was created instead of moving a single occurrence
  • The next occurrence is more than 3 months (Outlook) or 6 months (Google) away
  • The calendar account password changed, breaking authorization
  • The event was created by Clockwise, Reclaim.ai or another third-party scheduler
  • The manager or direct report changed in Lattice, or their calendar email doesn't match their Lattice email
  • Outlook account is self-hosted or was connected through the desktop app instead of the Microsoft web login

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

  1. 1. Disconnect and restore calendar sync

    1. Make sure you are the person who created the 1:1 (only the creator can troubleshoot)
    2. Go to Home > Plan 1:1s (or 1:1s) and open the 1:1
    3. Click Settings in the 1:1 agenda
    4. Under Calendar event sync choose 'Restore calendar sync' if authorization broke, or 'Disconnect from Calendar event' if the event changed
    5. Reconnect Outlook or Google Calendar and select the event again
  2. 2. Check the event itself

    1. Confirm the event still exists, is recurring with no end date and isn't marked Cancelled
    2. Confirm both attendees' emails match their Lattice profiles
    3. Move the next occurrence within 3 months (Outlook) or 6 months (Google)
    4. Recreate the event natively in Outlook/Google if Clockwise or Reclaim.ai made it
  3. 3. Re-authorize Google Calendar

    1. Click your Google avatar > Manage your Google account > Security
    2. Under third-party apps open Manage third-party access
    3. Remove access for Lattice
    4. Reconnect the calendar from the 1:1's settings in Lattice
  4. 4. Wait for the sync delay

    1. Rescheduling in Outlook takes about 5 minutes to appear in Lattice
    2. Google Calendar changes can take up to an hour
