Monday.com Email Notifications Not Received

Workaround available Web, Email Updated October 21, 2026

Quick answer

If monday.com emails don't arrive, they are usually in spam or blocked by your company's mail filter. Allowlist notifications@monday.com, check your notification settings, and reconnect the email integration if you changed providers.

Most likely fix: Check spam and quarantine.

Symptoms

No email for mentions, assignments or reminders; reminder emails from automations never send; links in notification emails don't work.

Why it happens

  • Emails filtered to spam/junk or quarantined by IT
  • Sender not allowlisted after an email provider migration (e.g. Gmail to Microsoft 365)
  • Broken integration connection
  • Automation reminder recipe misconfigured
  • Known limitation with interactive buttons in notification emails

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

  1. 1. Check spam and quarantine

    1. Search spam/junk for monday.com
    2. Ask IT to check the mail quarantine
  2. 2. Allowlist monday.com senders

    1. Add notifications@monday.com (and the monday.com domain) to safe senders
    2. Have IT allowlist it at the organization level
  3. 3. Reconnect the email integration

    1. Remove the Gmail/Outlook/M365 integration from the board
    2. Add it again from scratch and re-authorize the account
  4. 4. Check the reminder automation

    1. Open the board's automations and review the date-based reminder recipe
    2. Confirm the date column and recipients are still valid
  5. 5. Open items in the browser if email links fail

    1. Use 'Reply on monday.com' or open the item directly instead of email buttons
