Monday.com Outlook Calendar Integration Not Working
Workaround available Web Updated October 21, 2026
Quick answer
Monday.com's Outlook Calendar integration only works with a Microsoft 365 Business Premium license and an online Exchange mailbox. On-premise Exchange or personal accounts won't connect.
Most likely fix: Check your Microsoft license and mailbox.
Symptoms
The Outlook integration won't authorize, events don't appear, or changes don't sync back.
Why it happens
- No Microsoft 365 Business Premium license
- On-premise Exchange mailbox instead of Exchange Online
- Only one direction's template set up
- Expired Microsoft authorization
How to fix it
Try these in order — the most common fix is first.
1. Check your Microsoft license and mailbox
- Confirm the account has Microsoft 365 Business Premium
- Confirm the mailbox is Exchange Online, not on-premise
2. Set up both sync templates
- The two-way sync uses two templates, one per direction; add both from the board's Integrate menu
3. Reconnect the integration
- Remove the Outlook integration and add it again, re-authorizing Microsoft
