Capacities Apple Calendar (iCloud) Not Showing Events

Workaround available Mac, iOS, Web Updated October 21, 2026

Quick answer

Capacities' Apple Calendar integration only shows calendars stored in iCloud. Google, Outlook or subscribed calendars added to the Apple Calendar app won't come through; connect those accounts directly instead.

Most likely fix: Connect the original account directly.

Symptoms

Some or all calendars visible in Apple Calendar are missing in Capacities.

Why it happens

  • Calendar is a Google/Outlook/Exchange account shown inside Apple Calendar, not an iCloud calendar
  • Calendar is a subscribed or webcal calendar
  • Calendar is local to the device
  • ICS files and public calendar links aren't supported

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

  1. 1. Connect the original account directly

    1. In Settings > Calendar integrations, click Add Integration
    2. Connect Google or Microsoft 365 directly instead of through Apple Calendar
  2. 2. Move events to an iCloud calendar

    1. In Apple Calendar, make sure the calendar is listed under iCloud
    2. Create or move events into that iCloud calendar
  3. 3. Use CalDAV for other providers

    1. For Nextcloud, Fastmail and similar, add a CalDAV integration in Settings > Calendar integrations
