Capacities Calendar Integration Not Working

Symptoms

Events don't appear in the Calendar sidebar, or an error code (2408, 3498, 2891, 3322, 2789, 2339, 9232) shows next to the integration.

Why it happens

  • Missing permissions during setup (2408)
  • Existing Google or Microsoft connection conflicting (3498, 2891)
  • Authentication or fetching failure (3322, 2789)
  • Integration disabled by your provider or company admin (9232)
  • Calendar not selected in Calendar settings

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

  1. 1. Delete and reconnect the integration

    1. Open Settings > Calendar integrations
    2. Delete the connection showing an error
    3. Reconnect and follow the in-app instructions

  2. 2. Grant all permissions (error 2408)

    1. Reconnect and approve every permission requested during setup

  3. 3. Remove the old connection (3498 / 2891)

    1. Google: open myaccount.google.com/connections and remove Capacities Calendar Integration
    2. Microsoft: open account.microsoft.com/privacy/app-access and remove Capacities Calendar Integration
    3. Reconnect in Capacities

  4. 4. Enable it at your provider (9232)

    1. Enable third-party calendar access in your provider settings, or ask your IT administrator
    2. Note: if your company only shares free/busy status outside its domain, the integration can't work

  5. 5. Check which calendars and spaces are enabled

    1. In Calendar settings, select the calendars Capacities may access and the spaces that show events
    2. Open the Calendar button with the left sidebar open to see events
    3. Allow up to 30 seconds for changes to appear
