PowerDirector Watermark Still Showing After Purchase

You're still running the free Essential edition. Subscribers should sign in to Essential with the purchase email so it upgrades; perpetual buyers must install the paid version from the purchase email. Then produce the video again.

Symptoms
Produced videos still show the PowerDirector watermark, or the app still says Essential, after paying. Clicking remove watermark opens the purchase page.
Why it happens
- Still using the Essential build
- Signed in with a different email than the purchase
- Perpetual license bought but Essential never replaced
- Video was produced before upgrading
How to fix it
Try these in order — the most common fix is first.
1. Sign in with your purchase email (subscription)
- Close and reopen PowerDirector Essential
- Sign in with the email used to buy PowerDirector 365
- Let it upgrade to the full version
2. Download the full version from Member Zone
- Sign in at membership.cyberlink.com
- Download and install PowerDirector 365 from your account
3. Install the perpetual version separately
- Open your purchase confirmation email
- Download the paid installer; Essential can't upgrade in place to perpetual
4. Re-produce the video
- Open the project in the paid version
- Delete any watermark clip from the trial at the start of the timeline if present
- Produce again
