VN Audio Out of Sync
Workaround available iOS, Android Updated October 21, 2026
Quick answer
VN audio drifting out of sync is mostly reported on long projects. Re-import the audio, realign it on the timeline, match export FPS to your source and export long videos in parts.
Most likely fix: Re-import and realign the audio.
Symptoms
Voice or music slowly drifts away from the picture, volume changes on its own in longer edits, or audio is delayed in the export.
Why it happens
- Long project with many clips
- Variable frame rate clips (screen recordings, some phone footage)
- Export FPS that doesn't match the source
- Corrupted or unusual audio file format
How to fix it
Try these in order — the most common fix is first.
1. Re-import and realign the audio
- Delete the drifting audio track
- Add it again and align it with the waveform on the timeline
2. Match export FPS
- Tap Export > Manual and set FPS to the same value as your clips (for example 30)
3. Use a standard audio format
- Convert WMA, FLAC or other formats to MP3, WAV or AAC before importing
4. Export long videos in parts
- Duplicate the project, split it into sections and export each separately
5. Check mute and volume settings
- Make sure the track isn't muted or set very low, then restart the device
