VN Export Stuck at 99%

Quick answer
A VN export that freezes at 99% (or 0%, 10% or 50%) usually means the phone ran out of memory or overheated. Close background apps, let the phone cool, export at 1080p and, for long videos, export in parts.
Most likely fix: Close everything else and cool the phone.
Symptoms
The export progress bar stops at the same percentage and never completes, or it finishes but no video is saved.
Why it happens
- RAM overloaded by 4K footage or many layers
- Phone overheating and throttling
- Very long project (40+ minutes)
- Low storage
- Problem clip or audio file at the point where it stalls
How to fix it
Try these in order — the most common fix is first.
1. Close everything else and cool the phone
- Close all background apps
- Take the phone out of its case and let it cool
- Plug in power and keep the screen on
2. Lower export settings
- Tap Export, switch to Manual
- Choose 1080p instead of 4K and 30fps instead of 60fps
- Lower the bitrate
3. Export in parts
- Duplicate the project from the VN home screen
- Delete the second half in one copy and the first half in the other
- Export each part and join them afterwards
4. Find the clip where it stalls
- Note the percentage it stops at and locate that point on the timeline
- Replace or re-import the clip or audio file there (one stall came with an 'abnormal audio file' message)
5. Free storage and restart
- Free several GB of storage
- Restart the phone and export again
