Webex Recording Not Showing

Symptoms

You recorded a meeting but it isn't in My Recordings, or the Recordings tab is missing from your Webex site.

Why it happens

• Recording saved to your computer instead of the cloud
• Recording still processing after the meeting
• Cloud recording or recording tabs disabled for your account
• Free plan supports only local recording

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

1. 1. Check where it was saved

   1. Look for an MP4 in your computer's Documents or the folder chosen when recording
   2. Then check Recordings on your Webex site

2. 2. Wait for processing

   1. Cloud recordings can take a while after the meeting ends
   2. Check again later and look for the email notification

3. 3. Ask your admin to enable recording

   1. If the Recordings tab is missing, your host account may not have it
   2. Contact your Webex site administrator

4. 4. Remember the free plan limit

   1. Webex Free records locally only
   2. Cloud recording needs a paid or Enterprise license
