Acuity Showing No Available Times to Clients

Workaround available Web Updated October 21, 2026

Quick answer

Most often caused by private appointment types, Look Busy / Minimize Gaps hiding slots, blocked time or synced busy events, or fully booked resources. If nothing shows, clients see 'Online scheduling is not currently available'.

Most likely fix: Turn off Look Busy and Minimize Gaps.

Symptoms

The scheduling page shows no times, or specific slots you expect are missing.

Why it happens

  • All appointment types set to private
  • Look Busy or Minimize Gaps settings hiding availability
  • Hours entered with AM/PM mixed up
  • Manual blocks or synced external events covering the slot
  • Resources fully in use
  • Class times never added to the calendar

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

  1. 1. Turn off Look Busy and Minimize Gaps

    1. Disable both settings temporarily
    2. Reload the scheduling page to see if times return
  2. 2. Check appointment type visibility

    1. Make the appointment types public, or send clients the direct link to private types
  3. 3. Review availability and blocks

    1. Check hours for AM/PM mistakes
    2. On the Calendar page, remove blocked time or the synced external event covering the slot
  4. 4. Check resources and classes

    1. Make sure the resource the appointment needs isn't fully booked
    2. Add class times to the calendar manually
