  • Google autofill selected instead of LastPass
  • Browser-side problem (LastPass support says Opera's autofill issue is on Opera's side)

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

  1. 1. Update the LastPass app

    1. Open Google Play > LastPass Password Manager
    2. Install the latest version (4.5.2600 or newer includes the accessibility autofill fix)

  2. 2. Set LastPass as the autofill service

    1. Android Settings > Passwords & accounts (or System > Languages & input > Autofill service)
    2. Select LastPass as the autofill service

  3. 3. Re-enable accessibility autofill

    1. Android Settings > Accessibility > Downloaded apps > LastPass
    2. Turn it off, then on again
    3. In LastPass app Settings > Autofill, toggle autofill off and on

  4. 4. Exclude LastPass from battery optimization

    1. Settings > Apps > LastPass > Battery
    2. Set to Unrestricted so Android doesn't kill the service

  5. 5. Contact support from the app

    1. If it still fails, use LastPass app > Help and Support and include your device model and Android version
