How to Cancel LastPass and Get a Refund

Ongoing Web, iOS, Android Updated October 21, 2026

Quick answer

Turn off auto-renewal in your LastPass account settings, or in the App Store / Google Play if you subscribed there. Personal payments are treated as non-refundable, but contacting billing soon after a renewal sometimes gets it reversed.

Most likely fix: Cancel on the web.

Symptoms

You were charged for an annual renewal you didn't want, can't find where to cancel, or can't log in to cancel.

Why it happens

  • Paid plans auto-renew annually
  • Subscription purchased through Apple or Google
  • Lost master password blocks access to account settings

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

  1. 1. Cancel on the web

    1. Log in at lastpass.com and open Account settings / Subscription
    2. Turn off auto-renewal before the renewal date
  2. 2. Cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription

    1. iPhone: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > LastPass > Cancel
    2. Android: Google Play > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > LastPass > Cancel
    3. Request any refund from Apple or Google, not LastPass
  3. 3. Request a renewal refund from billing

    1. Contact LastPass support/billing as soon as possible after the charge
    2. Include the order number and renewal date
  4. 4. If you can't log in

    1. Recover the account first (see our master password guide), or contact support through the public support site with the billing email
