Keeper Autofill Not Working on iPhone

Workaround available iOS, iPadOS Updated October 21, 2026

Quick answer

On iPhone, Keeper only fills if it is enabled as an AutoFill provider in iOS settings. On iOS 18 use Keeper Settings > Enable KeeperFill; on older iOS select Keeper under Settings > Passwords > Password Options and untick iCloud Keychain.

Most likely fix: Enable KeeperFill (iOS 18 and later).

Symptoms

No Passwords button above the keyboard, iOS suggests Keychain instead of Keeper, or tapping Passwords doesn't open KeeperFill.

Why it happens

  • Keeper not enabled as an AutoFill provider
  • iCloud Keychain still selected and taking priority
  • iCloud+ Hide My Email hiding the key icon
  • No record with a matching website address

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

  1. 1. Enable KeeperFill (iOS 18 and later)

    1. Open the Keeper app > Settings
    2. Tap Enable KeeperFill > Turn On
  2. 2. Select Keeper as the AutoFill provider (iOS 17 and earlier)

    1. Open iOS Settings > Passwords > Password Options
    2. Turn AutoFill Passwords on
    3. Select Keeper under 'Allow filling from' and 'Set up Verification Codes using'
    4. Uncheck other password managers, including iCloud Keychain
  3. 3. Use the key icon with iCloud+

    1. If you see 'Hide My Email' above the keyboard, tap the key icon to its right to open KeeperFill
  4. 4. Search and fill manually

    1. Tap Passwords above the keyboard
    2. Search your vault for the record and tap Fill
