Keeper Passkeys Not Showing

Workaround available iOS 17+, Android 14+, browser extension Updated October 21, 2026

Quick answer

Passkeys only appear when Keeper is the device's passkey provider. On iPhone enable 'AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys' and select Keeper (untick iCloud Keychain); on Android 14+ re-select Keeper as the preferred service, especially after OS updates.

Most likely fix: Select Keeper as passkey provider on iPhone.

Symptoms

Sites offer iCloud Keychain or Google Password Manager instead of Keeper, 'Sign in with passkey' doesn't find your Keeper passkey, or Keeper never offers to save a passkey.

Why it happens

  • Keeper not selected as passkey provider
  • iCloud Keychain still enabled alongside Keeper
  • Android older than version 14
  • Android OS update reset the provider
  • Website doesn't support passkeys

How to fix it

Try these in order — the most common fix is first.

  1. 1. Select Keeper as passkey provider on iPhone

    1. Open Settings > Passwords > Password Options
    2. Turn on AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys
    3. Tap Keeper so it's ticked and untick iCloud Passwords & Keychain
  2. 2. Select Keeper on Android 14+

    1. Open device Settings > Passwords, passkeys and accounts (wording varies)
    2. Select Keeper as preferred service
    3. Repeat after major Android updates
  3. 3. Check site support

    1. Confirm the website supports passkeys (Keeper maintains a passkey directory)
    2. Create the passkey from the site's security settings while Keeper is active
